The Rivelin Chair

Now a well loved Sheffield Landmark, the Rivelin Chair came into existence as a result of a play project I led in 2009. It's in the river because that where the local children I talked to decided the structure should go, and Jason Thomson, the artist, was excellent at interpreting a brief that would encourage fun and reflective play. 15 years on, you can still hop on the stepping stones to the island, sit back and enjoy nature. It has completely fulfilled it's purpose.

Tree Equity Score UK

I was instrumental in the collaboration between the Woodland Trust, American Forests, and the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare to develop the Tree Equity Score mapping tool for the UK. This tool helps identify and prioritise areas requiring investment in their Treescape. It's an accessible free tool that is available for everyone, so click on the logo and see what you can find out about your area!
